Sunset, sunrise

A dear friend lives near the Oregon coast.
We share a love of the sea.
We often exchange pictures of sunsets. Mine, full of pink and orange, framed by Corfu and the Ionian Sea.
Hers, pastel blues and yellow orange, brushing a silver Pacific.
According to the sun, Oregon lies nine hours away, so her pictures arrive with first light.
It’s writing time and I take a break to gaze over Saranda…
… and watch dawn drift over the mountains, floating away to her.
